History of Karhana
Karhana or Karahan is one of the ruling clans of Gujjars. They trace back their history to Loulan Kindgom near silk road in ancient China. Kindgom was known as Krorain or krorayina in old Gandhari Documents. The kingdom had rich history related to indo European people and Buddhist culture.

Om Prakash Singh Karhana (born 11 January 1987) is an Indian shot putter. He trains at the Salwan Throws Academy, where he first began to learn how to shot put, and is supported by Olympic Gold Quest, a not-for-profit foundation to identify and support Indian athletes. He was originally a basketball player, but was approached by Lalit Bhanot, secretary of the Athletics Federation of India, to consider switching to the shot put.

Hukum Singh Karada (b 1956/57) is an Indian politician belonging to Indian National Congress. He has been representing Shajapur (Vidhan Sabha constituency) as MLA in Madhya Pradesh since 1993, except 2013-18 when he lost to the BJP candidate Arun bhimawad. He was a minister in Madhya Pradesh state government in 2019.
